Industrial Exposure Tours

• An extensive industrial tour to Chandigarh, Baddi, and Shimla (3rd–9th February 2020) was organized for B. Pharmacy VI and VIII semester students, providing them with first-hand insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing hubs.
• Multiple industrial visits to ISCON Surgicals Ltd., Jodhpur introduced students to the production of essential surgical items, including disposable needles, IV transfusion tubes, and surgical gloves.

Environmental & Biological Awareness

• Students of B. Pharmacy I Semester visited Machia Biological Park, Jodhpur, where they gained primary knowledge of flora and fauna, dry scrub forests, and wildlife such as the Asiatic lion, desert fox, and monitor lizard. The visit also emphasized the ecological diversity of western Rajasthan.
• An educational visit to the Arid Forest Research Institute (AFRI), Jodhpur for B. Pharmacy IV Semester (2019–20) exposed students to the latest research in biodiversity conservation under arid climatic conditions.

Scientific Learning Beyond the Classroom

• Students of B. Pharmacy II Semester participated in an educational tour to the Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI), Jodhpur, where they explored innovative research in arid agriculture and desert ecology.
• The Science Park, Jodhpur (DST, Nagar Nigam) hosted B. Pharmacy III Semester students in August 2018, giving them a deeper understanding of India’s advancements in science and technology.

Awareness & Community Engagement

• Beyond industry and research exposure, the Faculty of Pharmacy also conducts programs aimed at spreading knowledge about the pharmacy profession among school children, inspiring them to consider pharmacy as a rewarding career path in healthcare and research.
